Vivek Sohani
Vivek Sohani is an International Arbiter who established the academy in 2019. He was a hobby chess player and represented Mumbai University quite a few times in his college years. He won several medals for his college while playing in University Championship but could not continue Chess due to his studies.
He became Senior National Arbiter in 2016. Later he completed his all norms for FIDE Arbiter title . He Topped the FIDE Arbiter examination held in Delhi in 2017 & achieved FIDE Arbiter title in same year. He also cleared International Arbiter (IA) norms and achieved the IA Title in 2019. Vivek came from an engineering background. He cleared his Bachelor in Engineering and holds a University Rank!

The tools developed by Vivek were used by almost all the senior arbiters and it were really helpful as those were saving the crucial time of arbiters in tournament halls. He achieved the International Arbiter title at the early age of 26 in 2019 when he Completed the International Arbiter Title norms in following Events :

- Appointed as Head of Delegation of Indian team for Asian Youth Chess Championship 2021
- Successfully Completed Chess in Schools Trainers Camp organized by All India Chess Federation in 2021
- Suceessfully Completed Train the Trainers Camp for Chess in Schools Trainers organized by Maharashtra Chess Association in 2016 with Highest Grade
- Trained more than 100 kids till date and 20+ Students have FIDE rating.
